Researchers at the University of Leeds are working on a battery that they hope will make lithium batteries safer, cheaper, lighter, and smaller — all good things for tech gadgets. And of course we love tech gadgets. Oh, and they also run cooler — no thermal runaway. And they’re not just intended for small gadgets; they should work in electric cars too.

Found this great resource for children of military families. There are grants for children to enjoy activities such as tutoring, sports, and arts while a parent is deployed. Another grant helps children of wounded warriors. You may also want to donate to this great program.
